PhD Colloquium

A PhD colloquium will be organized in conjunction with the 11th International Conference on Financial Criminology (ICFC) 2021 which will take place online on 2nd – 3rd August 2021, immediately before ICFC 2021 to be held online on 4th – 5th August 2021. As the main organizer, the Accounting Research Institute (ARI) offers considerable important elements to the PhD Colloquium. Participants will receive (1) an e-certificate as presenters and (2) a copy of thorough reviews from the discussants at the end of the colloquium. Not only does the colloquium provides a way of stimulating sound doctoral research, but it also establishes and enhances a network of international contacts between junior researchers and established scholars.

Objective

The PhD Colloquium aims to provide an opportunity for doctoral students in financial criminology and other related areas to present and discuss their research. The colloquium is the best avenue for doctoral students to share their PhD works and connect with fellow PhD students through sharing of in-progress works and in-depth discussion sessions that followed. You will meet other PhD candidates and more experienced scholars who are selected as discussants for the colloquium. PhD students who have yet to defend their proposals are the most likely to benefit from the colloquium. However, we also encourage later-stage doctoral students to present their ongoing research output.
